Default Winter, service it before, or after?or mod?

I have an GB270, does few miles each year,( on 9800 now) is it better to service it, ( cambelt time) ie 5th year service, before, or after I put the car to bed.. for the winter. The car has done 2600 miles this year, service as per dealer, subaru ,.. since last service, sept last year.

OR...should I get it forged,
(service cost circa 450-500 plus next service is plugs, ie more money ie 250+).
Cost of forging, (MY estimate 2-3K).inc plugs and belt.
Cost of service, this and next year, (plugs +cambelt+sundries) £800+ (dealer).

would like a bit more poke...hehe,
soooo.
. Approx figures.

£1000, to keep it standard, £2500, or forge, to up it to 340/340 ish

What should I do......HeHe...

Forge all the way

But seriously if it was me I would put it away for the winter if that's your plan and fully service it when it comes back out, if its not being used when its off the road then I wouldn't worry about spending out on a major service until she is ready to come back out, you never know when the time comes to pull it back out there may be a sensor dead etc (worst case scenario) and I would be happier knowing its all refreshed and all in tip top shape when I want to use it if that makes sense, plus it's an added expense this side of Christmas if the car is not being used, or at least that's my way of thinking right or wrong

You don't need to forge it for 340 on a car with such low miles, just slap some injectors in and a bigger turbo and see how it goes.
