Default Grinding Noise Front N/S

I have a weird grinding noise coming from the front left side, almost sounds like the brakes are rubbing metal against metal. It only happens on full right lock when reversing, Ive had the wheel off and had a look at the usual bits but not took the caliper apart yet.

Has anyone ever had anything like this, is it likely the brakes?

Mine is doing exactly the same thing, only on full lock and when reversing so I look forward to the replies on this one. Andy

Pads and discs seem to be fine, I'll have another check over the weekend. Wheels are PFF7 18"

obv if the discs are worn and have a lip and the pads are low, the lip will rub on the backing plate of the pad.

if its got funky offest wheels then the inner edge can rub on suspension arm/bodywork

but id have thought if it was that it would do it all the time.

have you checked the hub nuts are tight on the drive shafts?, could be a worn CV joint but they usually click.

im not sure what noise the diff would make, those with DCCD can get the inside wheels scrubbing on full lock, but if reversing on full right and its the n/s front wheel making the noise then id guess its not that.

without seeing the car internet diagnosis can be a bit difficult lol
