hi I have been offered this as a swap for my tt

speaking to his mate it was built to run 500bhp but the turbo was taken off and standard fitted , it hasn't been remapped for the fmic or the rebore (not sure how bigger rebore but has heap of receipts) will this make a difference , also am I right in thinking these ecu,s are remappable unlike the classic I owned before

Crap, crap, crap ad. I'd want a shed load of receipts from the builder before I went anywhere near that!

 

As above! Leave well alone, if car was indeed what he is saying you would show all the paperwork in pics, give a full breakdown of what's been done, and it wouldn't be on swaps! IMHO he's full of ****, the mileage is high and you will be asking for trouble, walk away and don't look back
