Default My clock has gone off :(

1999 Classic and the dash clock has gone .. even the brightness switch can't help me

Any ideas.. if I look closely I think I can still see it working .. but it could just be hopeful dreaming.

Hit the dash a hefty tap above it it might come on again lol. Mine used to do it before finally giving up the ghost. Still worked in background if you looked really closely. To fix its a clocks out job

google it and there is a how-to on how to remove, dismantle and resolder the dry joints that are causing it to not work.

Mine went off and I just replaced the bulb! I could still see it very faintly but it was still there

It's not the bulb m8. Just dismantle the clock, a easy task even for someone without mechanical knowledge. And re solder the diode, or get a freind to help.

Lol. Scrub that, I was thinking newage for some reason. There is a bulb behind the dials on a 99. ��

Thats not a diode lol, its a resistor.
