What are you trying to do ? Get 450bhp ?

In your area I'd be off to Andy Forrest - you should already know this !

You wont be able to get that power with an apexi, as you aid you need to use the maf input to the apexi and you will max out the maf. I used a mafsim with an apexi to get just over 400bhp on my track car but the mafsim's are notoriously unreliable.

Mate, drop Andy an email and he will respond. He is a very busy man but he always returns emails. Keep the mail short and concise. I have a booking with him next Friday.

I don't understand your comments about "idle".

Is the car not idling properly? If not, that might indicate a MAF failure. If that is the case, drive it OFF boost and get it checked out at a decent place.

Aberfeldy? South Wales, so check on the local area section and ask for advice on there. I can't believe that there isn't a Scoob specialist in South Wales with it's rallying history?

Scotland? LOL, my geography is a fail.

Why do you need a MAF-less system? What induction kit have you, if any?
Are you running a FMIC? You should be at that power.

But he had after when I got offer.
I'm sorry, I don't understand this? Is English not your first language?
Can you explain what you are trying to say?

bigger turbo can make it hunt as it drops towards idle when running a maf, if the idle target is set to low it can stall out. Could be that or it could be a duff maf sensor.

turbo is rated to 450ps, which is 440bhp may struggle to get 450, tomei are mainly US turbos so seem to be pretty rare over here.

ECU wise then personally I'd be looking at syvecs, you can get 450 on the standard ecu and MAF, but its not an ideal solution.

Standard 95 JDM wrx ..... with a 450bhp motor in it?

Sorry, but theres a regular flow of newbs turning up with "i want loadsa power" ..... when your talking about bolting more than twice the power of the standard car, into a standard car, things wont be up to it!

At these levels of performance you need to consider the hole car and not just an engine for it! Whats your budget for the HOLE build? at 450bhp, you should be thinking 12k+

But to answer a question, 2.5" exhaust only starts to restrict at 480bhp.

What have you done with the brakes? Gearbox? Suspension?

At over 400bhp I would hope that all three are uprated?
