Once into 3rd you could telly feel it pull hard, first and second were mainly wheel spin. The start was so slippy and I was on street tyres, there is loads left in it

Yes and it did - got into the 10's . Please believe me when I said this track was not a propper strip, it was slippy and 60ft times were well down for all proven cars. I was on street tyres, it was a very up and down track. If you see there were to occasions of it hitting the limiter on this run, I didn't flat foot shift, I wasn't in its highest map. The car will easily do early 10,s

Yes only a second and a bit on that run and yes lots more spent.

The car that beat me on the Sunday by only a second had gear box that cost the same as my whole car, and probably 40- 50 k more in total, would I spend the money to catch him up, yes

Hohoho, comedian.... The figures speak for themselves, and the fact i need less boost than initially thought to make more power speaks for its self.

To be honest, I would have expected quicker, the strip i race on is pretty much in a farmers field and am into mid 11s on road tyres and road pressure. With the slicks and sorting out the pressures etc I will be aiming for low 11s/high10s dependant on track conditions

The car Brian was in is more focused for track then drag. But it will easily get into the mid to late 11's with a few tweeks and better track.

As for the money spent, not sure if there is as much difference as people think. I know Johns has a lot in it but the silver car has around 30k spend on it....I should know I sold it to Bri
