Default pic request please. special project.

A pal of mine has just completed an interesting project.

As you can see its an old escort, been wide bodied and had an early impreza turbo engine fitted.
Ive been to see the car today as he's having a little running issue so he's asked me to sort it.
The engine did have a cheap and nasty dump valve fitted which he has removed. He then plumbed the pipes back in how he thought they went but its quite clearly wrong and causing a running problem on boost.
It needs an OE recirc valve plumbing back in imo but its difficult to work out which pipes go where as its been messed with.
Has anyone got some decent pics of an early standard engine showing how the standard dump valve plumbs in ??

Many thanks,
Matt.

Its an ongoing project so that is something we will figure out. The last thing he wants is an ugly bonnet scoop though.

You're also going to need a new 90 degree inlet pipe, as the one fitted looks like it's had the dump valve connector lopped off. From the pics that is.

I've got a spare standard DV somewhere, but, the connector for the vac pipe is snapped off. Should be fixable with some Loctite and a threaded fitting though. Your's if you want it, and I can find it.

Yep well spotted, the bit on the inlet has been cut off. Its got a bit of metal pushed in and siliconed over from what I could see.

Very kind offer Micky, I'd be very grateful if I could have it off ya.
Thanks chap.
