Holy mother of god! Would love to know what that sounds like at idle then giving it some!!
BTW, standard spec Hawk STI with only 47k on the clock for sale. New project forces sale. £24,999 or very nearest offer

The idea of an 800bhp hawk seems incredibly appealing.
But surely the reality of owning a car like this is constant servicing, trips to the garage, replacing of parts and rebuilds?

Looks like he was just chasing numbers without a thought on reliability.

The current turbos will run around 500bhp apiece.

I was talking to the guy at TOTB with Tubs. He's a nice bloke, he built the car himself, and his mate (auto electrician) did all the loom etc. it was running conservative at TOTB as it was only mapped the night before!
He was on road tyres too as he hadn't done TOTB before and thought there would be tyre sales and services there, oops!
He ran some respectable times all considered, and it's a nice car.
