suspension question
evening lads, quick question for the clever knowledgeable guys lol. a m8 from work has a w reg legacy estate and his strut has collapsed and his car is stuck at his partners place. ive got the struts from my wagon in the shed when i upgraded mine to the red sti ones. (wagon is a my96) im thinking they would fit? anyone know if they would? cheers!

Yours friend Legacy have Bilstein suspension?
If yes then yours Red STI ones will be downgrade for him,although can work or fit,but you must keep in mind Legacy is much heavier than GC8/GF8 and those shocks are valved for GC8/GF8
Just not sure if they have same Top mounts or they're different

Hi jura his legacy is just a standard one the struts are my old ones from my wagon and also standard the sti ones are what I upgraded my wagon to so I have the old standsrd setup in my shed and thougbt they would fit just to get the car going just now thsnks
