Premier Membership - worth it?
Just logged in after (finally) signing up.
Paid 18 quid and found that all my lovely ads and pop-ups have disappeared.

The viewing area is larger, so I have to sit farther away from the screen.
I've also got room for 500 messages.
Great !
No incentive to keep the box clean and tidy now (says he, having recently deleted 5,500 emails from his own email application).
Just what improvements have I got for my money ?
Seriously though, I wonder if there's members like me who have neglected to pay the equivalent of 70-odd miles of petrol for what we get back, and of course what we could get back if we need (advertising etc.) ?
The only thing I'm uneasy about - which is the main reason I've posted - is that I got forced into creating a Paypal account in order to give my money?
I understand the issues surrounding Card payments but couldn't interbank transfer have been an option?
PS - I've also got to go through the whole process again (apart from pp creation) to order my SWS badge.
All that for a quid!
Anyone got a shopping basket?

Just signed up myself. I see it as contributing for the cause. Scoobynet takes a whole load of administration, running costs etc so it's good to put it all back into a community that offers heaps of support. At £18 it works out to a monthly cost of £1.5 a month or £0.0049 a day if that makes you feel any better about your loss

PS PayPal will change your life! How on earth did you survive without it?!?!?

Re. 'part 2' I've heard that money doesn't survive with it.

It is tax-deductible as well mind.........

Of course, it also costs members I suppose, because account of it is taken in the price presumably.
* Mmm...something wrong there.
I paid nothing and got hundreds of ads and pop-ups per day, now I'm paying £18 for none whatsoever.
(Joke, Admin, joke. Please don't stick me in a profile full of the things.
)
I pay just £2.00 per month which works out much cheaper and easier than having to fork out £18.00 a year.
It's time to reveal my name.
Yes, Osimabu IS Gordon Brown (or George Osborne....)
