Yes I did use autosol but ran out near end and finished off with meguirs metal polish which was no way near as good. Def buy some more of that stuff works a treat with a bit of elbow grease

Did mine in the week too, although mine is fitted to the car so a little more awkward.

Autosol is awesome though, £6 for a tube and works to perfection.

Do the rim and inside perforated bits as well. They come up a treat.

I'm keen on getting one of these to replace my afterburner but don't want to lose the flat 4 burble. How does it sound and what did you pay for it?

I've never used Autosol, always Meguiars NXT metal polish......so you rate Autosol better do you? What ways is it better?
Need some more soon so may try Autosol if it seems better.

Fitted one a month ago, still burbles but a lot quieter, sounds fruity higher up the revs and motorway speeds are a lot less noisy/tiresome.
Paid £44 for mine off eBay for mine and its in great condition. Keep any eye it for people misspelling Prodrive as Pro Drive.. they get a LOT less bids

£130 with centre pipe which turned out to be no good as flange too corroded. Not on car yet will let you know

It lifts the crud off much easier think it must be stronger stuff, less elbow grease needed, the difference is not vast but noticeable and better

I would've said about £50 for one, I went the other way and went to Afterburner from the Prodrive. It depends how it sounds to if you have any cats in and your centre resonated or not. There must be a few available from some of the breakers on here.

A lot if people seem to want near on £100 which in my opinion, is too much for a 2nd hand exhaust which will be at least 7 years old now.

2000 grit followed by autosol will do the trick, plenty of water

practice in an unseen area first to give you confidence

This was mine after I used Autosol with 000 wire wool on the tough stuff. When it got closer to the metal I used 0000 wire wool and then eventually a microfibre cloth so as not to scratch the metal.

Well got prodrive back box on today and standard centre pipe, to me it sounds so much better in that it is not as in your face as the blitz nur spec, a lot less cabin drone/noise. I prefer the look as well more subtle and less boy racer for me. However it does not drive as quick or at least feel as quick! Car had ecutek remap for blitz so it's booked into scoobyclinic for remap and will have perrin cold intake fitted. I'm hoping this will bring back the same feel under the pedal??
