I would say it is worth £5-6k, it is a buyers market

If this spoiler is for sale I would love to see how it handles in the wet!

too be honest the car is pretty much how I want it, other than wanting coilovers and either rota torques or grid drifts on it. Would £5k be a fair prices considering mileage etc?

no wouldnt need a bigger turbo, but a bigger intercooler increases airflow which increases power... so a map would be the adviced option... but im sure someone will jump on here and prove me wrong

If its proper clean like he says then five grand is its money tops. And in my opinion thats right at the top end and only demanding that because its white.
I personally wouldn't even give that for it but thats because I'd take a bug STI at the same money instead.

not keen on the bugs otherwise that would deffo be on the cards rather than a wrx. Right its still on standard turbo, intercooler hasn't actually been ran on the car, as the garage that fitting it, said it would need a map to prevent it running lean, so top pipes are removed and standard cooler is still in place.
He's been sending me pics over of the respray, seems like a proper job has been done, doors off lights out, boot n bonnet off

unsure too be honest, maybe hes like me an wants a white one, as ill be doing the same if I didn't have it, buying one and getting it sprayed white. Have seen one for £3.3k on 70K complete standard and one owner from new, but after cost of respray, sti bumper and spoiler, id be getting close to my £5k budget that without looking into alloys, coilovers and then getting it mapped

cheers, maybe going to view it on weekend, will be going over it thoroughly and if not as described will probably walk away as matt says £5k is top end, and it is actually over my ideal mileage would of preferred closer to 70/75k

It's been resprayed, it's been run with a front mount and no re-map, now running with a front mount that's not connected. It's not ticking many boxes really.

Why the front mount when it's only been ppp'd? I'd also not be keen on a respray to a different colour. Re. the price you could easily take a grand off IMHO.

unsure too be honest, but if im honest id be tempted to go front mount myself just for the look more than anything. Few folks think I should wait to see if a lower mileage one comes up, but saying that if it being resprayed puts you off does that mean people will be put off mine when it goes up for sale because im planning to spray mine white when I find one :/

Nothing as fussy as a Impreza buyer with cash. I get put off with non standard radios or non marque wheels (VWs). 6k is sti territory surely?

Would be paying 5k for it, but I'm being advised to wait now by few others aswell. Either way I've got to factor in cost of respray into my budget which leaves me with about 4 to 4.5k with one with few suitable mods an reasonable mileage

Look,
If the car ticks the boxes for YOU and is mechanically sound and bodily sound and YOU are happy with the price then go buy it.
Like you say, you have got an itch for a white one. Factory white ones come up rarely so a painted one is the other option. As long as its been painted well then it wont devalue the car at all.
Its got the bits on it you want and just wants the front mount hooking up and custom mapping.

Go see the car, drive it, and if its right and your happy then scratch that itch.
