Default Legacy blitzen

Anyone know much about these cars? It's the blitzen version which is a porsche design.

Any good? Are they similar to gtb?

I've read that these have front and rear LSD, are they 4wd?

Just reviews and info please, I assume parts would be hard to get, are they same parts as most legacys?

They're nice looking cars.

Shame we don't get these models here in the UK except via import...

yea the diffrnce to my uk gearbox was the speedo linkage was electronic but my mate managed to apapt it with my broken box, yea 5sp manual,it was advertised as a impreza box when I enquired the guy said it was off a blitzen legacy and was on his 555,im always changing gear now which is a bit annoying round town but when flat out its very nice, and 3000 rpm in 5th gear on the motorway is 62mph ,not good on feul if I wana sit at 80 well its a Subaru so not good on feul any way lol

Yeah just done a quick read.

Well the guys got back to me and it's auto/trip tonic box so I've refused as I'm not into autos although think its got gear changes on steering wheel which is rare for an old car like that.

They are a sought after Legacy, vey much the same as a top of the range GTB/B4 Twin Turbo, with some nice extra bits added.
Always worth more than the equivalent GTB.
Only the bespoke bumpers etc are difficult to find, everything else is straightforward GTB (estate) or B4 (saloon).

Also what's the possibility of swapping the auto box for a manual?
Is it straight forward or a pita

Don't know about gearbox changes, but it sounds like a later Rev D model if it does the dashboard tricks.
Is it around a '51 plate, 2001 reg?
The tiptronics are supposed to be very good anyway, gearchanges without losing boost!

My father had a black one a few years ago, that had the auto/tip box and it was fantastic. And yep, they have shifters on the wheel
