Impreza WRC Replica for a wedding ?
Hi all
I posted this on pistonheads and they pointed me in the direction of scooby net.
I am trying to arrange transport to get my future brother in law to his wedding
Hes a big impreza fan and had an immaculate bug eye until a oopsy a few years ago now sensible mondeo diesel st is the daily driver.
I am ideally after a wrc replica although any impreza considered
The wedding is on Friday 23rd of august and is in the bristol area (clifton)
We would need you and your car for approx 2 hours and the journey is less than 5 miles from home to venue
Any costs towards fuel and time is no problem
Hope someone can help
Cheers
Matt

What a shame as my full steal replica should be finished just after that date ,,, here is a pic of the last wedding I did before it went in for the steal wrc wide body kit
But if you can't find a rep I'm happy to help with my other scoob ,,,it not a rep though
I'm also in Bristol,,,might be worth asking someone on bath and Bristol scoobys aswell

Mine's just done my daughter's wedding.
Not a WRC I'm afraid but a T20 Hawk (it is WRC Blue though).
Feel free to PM me (Bank Holiday Friday - must be mad. )

RIGHT !
The first continuation I'm notified of after posting my offer is Post 8, which doesn't have domino's car, just Matty saying that it will break on the way to the church.
So - thinks - mmmm, he's referring to MY car.
So I explain what 20 is.
Domino's 'agreeing' with him, so I make him aware that he's the second one to (seemingly) make a wrong conclusion.
Then the pair - oh, let's leave it there.
I got confused, sorry.
I just wish he'd (not sure which one myself now) had posted the picture as well, so I didn't think he was talking about mine.
S*d crack, I'm off down the pub early, to watch a Rooney hat trick.
Cheers.

But yes, something went wrong because it didn't give me the 'first unread' (I think).
And I've no doubt you know what a Type 20 is.
I have to apologise for implying that you couldn't spell it
Anyway, now the op's got offers from two birds

Your quote didn't have his picture.

No, not what you said, his quote of what you said ie. post 6.
He quoted what you said, but without the picture I took it in the wrong context ie. that he had quoted a reply that you made to me, which you hadn't.
When I looked back up the thread, following Andy's comment, I then realised that I'd missed a post and that Domino wasn't quoting a reply from you to me but a post from you that referred to him.
Then the lightbulb moment.
You hadn't got the wrong end of the stick re. '20' and the engine of a Type 20 at all. You were talking about his (UK) Hawk.
Hence my apology for confusing the issue, which is probably what this explanation has done even more.
Mmm...... time for bed I think.
