Replacement Key for 2005 WRX.
My recent purchase only came with one key as the previous owner lost the spare.
My local Timpsons quoted me £45 for a coded key, but is the anywhere other than Subaru that offer a key replacement service?
If Subaru do really want £250 for a replacement remote key fob, I may just as well buy a new alarm system for £300!
Any help/advice appreciated.

Doh! That's what I was afraid of. The remote works fine, its just that it is a bit tatty. May be I can find an a good used one and swap the blade and internals over? Then just get a spare key with coded chip as a back up.
