Hello guys, I've just bought an 06 plate 2.5 Hawk eye wrx with 50000 miles. It's a one owner with full service history from Subaru Gatwick and in excellent condition. I've never owned a Subaru before and I have noticed when I'm going along in normal driving conditions ( not giving it the full beans ! ) that the gear *** wobbles around a bit, is this normal ? It's not what I would call excessive or anything but is this an indication of the gearbox or engine mounts on their way out ?

 

gear linkage bushers matey...... two of them on top of box......

There around £30 from Subaru mate,, Sheffield Subaru service did mine, but did not drop gearbox so can't be that hard, there on top of the gearbox,,
