Just reversed my car in to a wall and put a deep scratches down nearside rear bumper.

Anybody know roughly how much this is going to cost for a respray?

It's DGM MY01.

Ouch, as long as it hasn't scarred the plastic of the bumper, a respray could be between £100 - £350, obviously the latter is a dealer quote.
Hope you get it fixed soon...Blutes

I have mine booked to bodyshop in for a few week time, cost is £175+VAT I think.
The dealer originally tried just to respray it locally which made a mess of it, so they are refunding my money on this job.

Could try Chips Away.

They're doing my front nearside, rear off side a couple of minor chips and a wing mirror for 170 + vat

got a good deal though because it's a promotion on a newly opened franchise

It was a chips away type bloke that did mine the first time, rear bumper and wing mirror. The paint looked dull and has no sheen compared with the rest of the car(WR Blue)so its going back in.

The only way to do it properly is in a bodyshop. Im doing mine through the dealer for warranty purposes plus I get a courtesy car for 2/3 days whilst its in. They told me the bodyshop they are using is in Hall Green area but I dont have the name.

In order to put it in pristine condition, a mate of mine was quoted £500, but there were some HORRIBLE scratches there, deep into the metal etc. And on the bumper as well.

I had both front and rear bumpers plus both rear wings and wing mirros painted for £400 at a local bodyshop, who did a top job.
I wouldn't go to a dealer if I were you!

I did the same to the front of my MY00 after a few months. Drove it into a low wall and scored the front offside bumper - deep scratches in the plastic.

Chipsaway came, looked at it, said "60 quid plus VAT" then spent two hours filling, sanding, priming, painting and laquering, plus fixed scratch on other side of bumper, and scratches on wing mirror.

Looks stunning. Also looks like I got a bargain

MarkWRX,

The paintshop is probably Frank Stone. I've got mine booked in for Monday now.

Cool

For the surface scratches, have you tried the stuff called 'G3' compound.

Put a scatch down my car, got some of that stuff and it polished out!

5.99 for a tube (yellow) from an auto store.

It can work magic!
