There is a couple of cars around Agios nikolaos, to the east of the island. If you rent a car out and fancy going for a bit of site seeing and lunch, I recommend taking a drive up Lasithi plateau- an amazing road that will have you wishing you had your Impreza
Where about's are you staying on the island?

They are there, different country but I had a couple of weeks in cyprus a few years ago and rented an MR2, Mazda MX5 and a Jeep Wrangler for a couple of days each, went over the back roads in the Wrangler and got stopped by a barricade of a load of cars that would not let us past, so got stuck there for a couple of hours and forced to watch a stage of the cyprus rally. then followed a couple of the locals back that we'd got chatting to via the rally stage that were in a pajero and had some fun.

We're staying in Elounda, got a hire car today so have been about a bit.
Saw one of those Subaru Vivios(?) pictured above and saw a (cough) EVO today.
The roads are good but I wouldn't fancy rounding a corner enthusiastically to find a local coming the other way on my side of the road.
Ended up at Ag Nik this evening and had a chicken and pork Gyros (kebab)

Saw a Subaru Service sign outside a garage today but still no Scoobies.
Best cars today were Celica GT4, Mini Cooper S and that's about it.
Had a nice drive over some beautiful twisty mountain roads between Kritsa and Mirtos, very undulating, twisty and plenty of hairpins - if only I wasn't in a Hyundai....
