Garages - Oh I do love them
I'm fortunate to have a semi detached house with a garage which allows me to put my car in under shelter and clean it.
I bought Meguiars 3 step (paint cleaner, polish and wax) 2 years ago but never got round to using, however I did this week.
I washed the car twice on the driveway on Saturday, drove it into the garage same day and used the first two steps of the meguairs yesterday night.
I now only have to do the wax which will really bring the shine out (even though it already looks spanking at the moment).
As I was doing the steps yesterday after work it started pooring down with rain, really heavy in London. I was just glad I had shelter as I would have been really peed off that I had washed the car and it rained delaying me even further in getting the car gleaming.

I can't fit my car in the garage with my workshop in there
I do rate the Meguiars 3-part paint system though, I did mine just before the Uxbridge Autoshow and in the rain it is beading up nicely

We have a garage but it's full of junk so no room for any cars, Her C4 Grand Picasso and her son's sorn'ed Micra are in the driveway so my 206 sits on the road as it is used every day. My sorn'ed Scooby sits on my parents driveway and is slowly disintergrating but will be back on the road one day...

I'm renting at the moment, but when we buy a house it'll have a double garage with an apex roof and 2-post ramp in the middle - workshop on one-side and at end with bike storage on the other side. Junk can go in the rafters

I've a double length garage and whilst I have room for two cars there I can't really get at them due to the amount of other 'junk' in there; bikes, surfboards, inflatable boat, outboard engines etc etc. I really need to get everything out so I can paint the floor with garage floor paint that I bought three years ago!

I've not long finished my garage out here in Croatia 5.5m x 7.5m, big enough for work bench and shelving for storage and to open the doors on both sides, I can even get my crew cab VW transporter in and close the door which is 3m x 2.4.
Decent garage is essential, bikes are hung on the wall along with ladders and other stuff to free up floor space, just got to sort out plumbing for the sink and jobs a good un.
It's got a flat roof at the moment because next years job is man pad above it.

Can't believe people lucky enough to have a garage and they fill it with ****e, take your junk to the tip! Garages are for old cars motorbikes and tools!
I'm desperate for a garage so I can restore a mk2 escort, but my house lay out wont alloy for a garage worth building.

My mate rents his garage out to 6 Eastern European immigrant families.
He's also got 6 Bulgarians and a Romanian single mum with 10 kids on the waiting list for his wheelie bin.
He reckons that within 3 months he'll be able to buy that £20k P1 on the other thread.

Hey Busterbulldog, I am well aware of your double garage and security. Your garage is top notch with ample room for even two cars side by side.
Last night I did the final coat of the meguairs wax, and what can I say the shine is just amazing. This is the first time that I've done such a deep clean and am very impressed with the results.
P.S. My garage/carport was also full of junk which this year I cleared out because my moto is if it hasnt been used in over a year then its straight in the bin. Im not a hoarder but whatever is kept is nicely organised on the 3 tier MDF shelves I built or in the loft. Where the cars kept just in front of the brick garage under shelter I let my mate store his sh$t from his garage as he was moving. It was there for two years until this year when I asked him to move it as I had big plans.
Finally everything is good and am making full use of my garage/carport which is long enough to drive two cars in but the wifes car stay on driveway.

Lee (S3 LDM) has another nice garage, plenty of space and heated to keep his pride and joy nice, it's the one thing I miss from my last house, had a nice double garage with a pit and hoist (well old block and tackle) over a steel girder, was a good place to be when shìt hit the fan with her indoors could just crack on with the cars in the man cave, wish I still had it

Did my garage out, and even tiled the floor with carpet tiles(nice and soft for the tyres) Even got a radiator to keep the car nice and warm in the winter months, unfortunatly its that good in there now that the missus has turned it into a childs play room!!! Instead of having the scooby in there, it now has my son and screaming friends playing in there!!
