Hi all,

I came across a JDM STI with a closed deck legacy block with forged internals and also they converted the twin scroll feature into a single scroll Borg Warner rotated setup (with twin scroll headers and uppipe turning into a single scroll if that makes sense). The power it is running is around 500bhp and is capable of more as is it running about 21psi atm.

The question I have is would the legacy closed block be a advantage compared to the ej207 semi-closed deck block? Would the legacy block have any impact on the spool or other features that the ej207 offers?

Great. Will the difference in the engine block mean that any other features will get affected? Like AVCS?
