Default massive thanks to andrew carr and cams

as above had the the classic/newage hybrid down for a tweak and they went above and beyond, andrew found damaged link cable for neutral switch, cams gave me a replacement which andrew fitted then out on the road for a tweak and the car pulls so much better than ever.
thanks alot guys

only issue i have is injectors blocking as there's no filter at the fuel pump which is now ordered.

Agreed they're a top bunch of blokes & very helpful. Only problem is that they have so many spare/uprated bits knocking about, that I cant resist & I always end up buying more stuff than I wanted!
What's the spec on your car mate? It sounds interesting being a classic/newage build. Any pics?!

Nicely spec'd mate & I bet it doesn't hang around with that power to weight ratio! Hopefully my plans in the future are to put an sti engine & box into my classic. I'm also liking that little spoiler on the back :-)
