Anyone done the throttle body mod ?
Where you join the 2 water "cooler" pipes together to remove the heat from the throttle body, if so, what size joiner do you need to join the 2 pipes and do you need to bung the holes in the throttle body the hoses attached too ?

No need to join the 2 pipes together just remove one and connect the other to where you removed it from ,no need to bung the holes on the throttle body up either

simple enough mod to do, as stated either connect both together or remove one hose and connect the end of the other to wherever the removed hose was connected to.
we do the same for old E30 BMW's to delete the TB heater on those. the general consensus on the E30 anyway is that it doesnt make much difference either way so if the scoob is going to see winter use you may as well just leave it connected up.
