Anyone know where I can get a set of metal pedals extensions that clip on rather than me having to buy the ones that involves me drilling through my pedals to fit them

No clip-on pedal mounts as securely as a drilled-on one.
You could prob get away with a clip-on for the accel, but not the clutch or brake. Not for track driving anyway...

It's just I have noticed that the clutch and brake pedals are metal and the accl is on a bevel type thing and seems to be made of plastic

The Subaru Sti ones (metal with pink bits!) clip on including accelerator - expensive though - approx £90 including matching footrest.
The Subaru ones off the new WRX (metal with black bits) are clip on for the brake/clutch and the accelerator is a replacement pedal but fits the same as standard.
Both would have the advantage of rubber studs so not so slippy in the wet.
If you want drilled ones you would have to knacker the accelerator pedal and also offset the clutch/brake as the arms are mounted right in the centre of the pedals so you can't drill through.
Hope this helps.

Not sure if the dealers sell the Sti pedals or not - have seen them at a couple of independent places (grahamgoode.com/scoobymania.co.uk.) Dealers should sell the WRX ones but no idea how much or if they would want to sell them as 'upgrades' to old shape owners. You might find this interesting too click here

Sti pedals replace the plastic items except the acc pedal which sits over the top of the existing one. The are very fiddly to fit but well worth the effort.
