have just bought a wrx bug and wondered what these parts are i think one is some sort of brake stopper?? if so what is the benefit of this? Also is there a 3 boost solonoid in these pics ?? i think this is a forge accuator of some sort but it doesnt make any noise at all ! i do know it has a v35 turbo.

Looks like a actuator from the pictures, this wont make any extra noise. Its just a upgrade to a standard one.

Brake stopper gives a firmer feel on the brake pedal its job is to take away flex on the brake servo and bulkhead I believe to give you a firmer feel under hard braking. Good effective mod.

Yes you have a 3 port solonoid

yes its a brake stopper

And i think you are mixing up a accuator with a dump valve

VTA dump valve will make a sound but, by the sound of it you have a standared RC dump valve = no noise

As all above, It's a replacement/upgrade Forge actuator.

"dump" valve is fitted to the intercooler...........
