I have an Impreza originally from Ireland so my speed gauge and mileometer are in kilometers. I'm aware the speed gauge can be converted but can the mileage counter? I'm assuming this is trickier.

When you convert the speedo into mph it will then clock up miles instead of KM. It'll just mean your speedo will show a mixture of miles and km. Just make a note of the km reading when you convert it so you are able to work out the total miles covered.
