Hi all, I have what I presume is the red STI suspension and pink coil springs on my V3 STI, it came over from Japan with this set on but it's to soft for my liking so I'm looking to uprate the springs to stiffen things up.
Not looking to run coil overs as I think it will be more than good enough for what I want with the right springs.

I can't really find a great deal of choice about so can any of you recommend something that would be more up the job and where to buy??
I've found a set of Eibachs on eBay but that's about all.

Pinks are generally one of the hardest springs. Do not buy the eibachs they are a progressive spring so feel really soft. I had the blue prodrive springs on my classic and found them perfect for uk roads. The prodrive ones are made by eibach but are a linear spring

That's what I thought but it's just to wallowey for my liking, as for the springs being new or used I'm not that bothered as long as they're up to the job, not rusty and priced right

Are you certain it's the springs, and not tired shocks?

Also, is it still running the stock droplinks? If so, you could tighten it up a bit with solid ones, Whiteline, CDF etc make them.
Does it still have the stock REAR arb? If so, try an adjustable one 2mm THICKER than the stock one, but leave the front alone, so as to remove understeer.

TBH, I'd do ALL that before fitting stiffer springs with UK roads as they are and unlikely to get much better in MY lifetime.

All stock a part from the suspension although I do have a front Whiteline ARB and drop links to put on it.
The car has done 77,000kms so I don't think the shocks have seen loads of work but that's not a lot to go by although I do have the original shocks and springs that were on the car from new, they were bagged up in the boot when it arrived at the docks and these have seen very little mileage.
I could put these back on to try and maybe have a better idea if the shocks on there at the moment are shot??

FRONT arb?

Nope, it's the rear one you want, leave the front alone, or dial in MORE understeer.
