If it was an MY96 or later.
It's not allowed to 'post date' cars.
That's why I couldn't have SU13 ARU - apart from a) the money to buy it at auction; and b) the money to buy a brand new scooby.
As mentioned by others, in general plates are personal and hence of limited interest.
I couldn't believe that I got T20 + my initials for just £250, all in, direct from DVLA.
Not surprisingly T20 SUB, T20 SCB and all variants of 'scooby' and 'subaru' weren't available.
