Stick 'Private Reg Valuation' into Google and browse how many of the huge number of hits you'll get.

Your 'problem' is this - the plate's only of huge value to someone with initials MKR who happens to own a 555.

If they own a 555 they're unlikely to want to put an MKR plate on unless it's a) cheap; or b) will increase the vale of the car by more than the cost of the plate - which of course is unlikely.

I bought a T20 plate for mine direct from DVLA - cost all of £250, and my initials were with it as well !!

S555 SUB/SCB/SBY etc. would be a different kettle of fish.
Incidentally T20 SUB/SCB/SBY were not available when I looked.

You probably know what I mean.

Sorry M8.

I'm not sure, but a 555 couldn't legally have an 'S' plate could it because of the MY?

Anyway, back to the OP.
If you google 'Private Registration UK' there's plenty of sites that will value it for you.

I believe we had a thread not too long ago re. an A4 xxx reg plate and the OP there found it worth a lot more than they originally thought.
