Default STI suspension or Prodrive Lowering springs

Toying with the idea of lowering my 2003 WRX wagon. Just looking into which option to take.

2nd hand STI shocks and springs, bring a drop of which I believe 10mm

Or

New Prodrive/Eibach lowering springs, brings a drop of 25/30mm

I do not want to go down the route of coilovers, as had them on my last car and they just don't work on uk (in my opinion).

What are peoples thoughts / experience?

Pics are most welcome.
