re map

hi i went to the yms show yesterday and i seen a sti with a remap with launch control and anti lag that he got it mapped into the car and the place that done the map with anti lag and launch control with them into to switches does any body no who does this and how much please

Most mappers can do it. Dependand on the year of car? Will determine what ecu and software is used

ok mate cheers i only had it a dew weeks it is a wrx with sti intercooler,injectors and turbo and it is on 2002

alright it might have been then if it already been mapped can i get it mapped again and the switches put in for anti lag and launch control

Yep. But you may need an aftermarket ecu. Best contact a mapper

Looking at around £1300 for a Simtek fully mapped with anti lag and launch control!!! Best to contact one of the mappers on here like Jolly Green Monster!!!

Both pointless on a road car in my opinion. I had both unlocked on my motec and never used either.
If you want a few pops on over run just get it mapped in. You can have your car open source mapped which is relatively cheap, circa £300 I think.

A few pointers from me.

A 5 speed newage gearbox will not like LC, be warned.

Anti lag is great for fun and games, and does actual aid serious drivers if used in anger, however be prepared to shell out if you use it too much. I watched my oil temp shoot up when used in anger, and it can lead to death of headers and turbo!

That said it good fun, another vote for Andrew Carr from me, there are plenty tuners/mappers in here to choose from
