I have passed 2 scoobys today n had a "hi" gesture like a wave! Is this just someone thinking I am someone else or is this like a subaru owners thing???? Haha sorry abit random
Mk2golf drivers do it a lot there some off the friendliest I've come across when I had my oak green a few years back and blew a rad hose another mk2 owner stopped drove home and fetched me a replacement hose and refused to take payment for it.
Yep the look the other way method works too.
one of them came up for a chat at a petrol station a while back.
just put a fiver in and ran before anyone saw me!!
Since I've had the STI I'm always getting waves. It's one of the nice things about owning one. I even get an occasional wave when I'm in the Forester too
I wave at all imprezas even if I don't like the the look of it(like the stickered variety and sheds etc)but I do feel like a bit of a window licker when I don't get one back

Having been in the VW scene for 5yrs prior to the Impreza I was used to the fellow enthusiast wave.
Given a nod or wave of approval/acknowledgement at a couple of Impreza's round here but you have to be careful as a lot of them seem to be cheapo classic sheds bought by chavs so usually get a "WTF you waving at me for pal, wanna fight?" look back!!
Although there was a lovely dark candy apple red classic that gave me a wave from the opposite side of a roundabout the other day.
Haha well i can be mistaken for a "Chav" I think!! So if anyone sees a black non turbo wagon south west area I promise to not look like I wanna fight you over a random wave
All the waving is a bit of a nuisance.
The missus keeps asking me "who was that?" and I'm not sure she's totally convinced when I reply "a fellow Subaru driver".
Fortunately I haven't yet come across a lady scooby driver. That would be interesting.
