Default Whiteline droplink snapped!

Fitted a Whiteline rear ARB and droplink set just over 12 months ago. Done less than 5k miles and the N/S/R droplink has snapped

Clearly I'm not a rally driver, so was expecting a bit better longevity than that. Any suggestions, before I make the call on Monday?

Yep, i've had the same so went back to oem plastic. Much cheaper and a lot happier. Plus our roads are crap so a little give somewhere is brilliant.

Uk MY97 wagon running standard arb and suspension in good condition, 16 inch rims, daily driver.

On the demise of the placky rear drop links I fitted alloy rear drop links and found the understeer reduced slightly and back end firmer with a bit more power on control. Nothing spectacular, just less vague. Ran like this for about a year.

Fitted front alloy drop links on the demise of the placky ones. Found the front thumped like a bugger and understeer all over the place in the wet. Lasted about 6 months then went back to placky front drop links.

On front and rear alloy drop links the car felt and behaved like the standard car, just uncomfortable. My car behaves better on rear only alloy drop links. Can only surmise that the apparent reduction in understeer comes from slightly unbalancing the rear.

No, the steel ones, which look damned expensive for a length of steel bar with a loop in each end!

I found my original receipt (Bought 12/2011 and fitted 01/12) and they were bought from here as part of a GB, so we'll see what the supplier says on Monday.....

*Update*

The parts have been replaced by Whiteline and I now have a shiny set of Drop Links ready to go on......

The only snag to that is that I didn't want to wait weeks with a broken Drop link, so I went to Apex and bought a set of theirs......Which, by the way are MUCH better quality than the Whiteline ones, which will be going on eBay shortly.

Big to the original suppliers INDIGO-GT for sorting the replacement with White Line. Also to APEX for sorting a good discount on hearing my tale of woe
