Hey all, ive been a member on here for a few months now and the majority of the time I simply read through threads to try and better my knowledge within the subaru world. (not doing much posting)

I have an MY08 hatchback STI and I love it to pieces, in the 6 months i have owned the car I have only put a HT Autos splitter on the front end.

Summer is now here (although the weather doesnt show it) and im getting myself involved with a few shows this year including JAE.

Therefore I have saved a little cash for upgrades, but from looking on here it seems that second hand upgrades are hard to come by the hatches.

I have been recomended to visit a few specialist subaru websites but there isnt much available for the hatch.

So my main question.. Where should I be looking for specific upgraded parts? Performance wise, but also aesthetically wise. Is there a company that does more for the MY08 hatches in particular?

Or some of you may find this silly but what should I be looking for whilst browsing the forum.. I see a lot of information about 'classic' and 'newage'

What would my car come under?

Hi mate, tons of performance specialists and depends what your looking to achieve, budget and also if you plan to get engine forged etc....

With regards getting it cosmetically better you are right as its pretty limited at mo with most items on the classics, bugeye, hawk eye versions although a good few places in Japan etc which I use.

Have you found the hatch thread in the members gallery? There's plenty of people on there to provide hatch specific advice.

Thanks for replying, the best place I have been to is 'just-subaru' as they allow you to type in exactly what model impreza you have. Ill be in touch
