Due to some little f#*ker playing football and hitting my boot leaving a nasty dent right in the middle, causing the paint to crack, rather than repairing the one i have im opting for a boot off matt at pole position which is already same colour in v good cond. Does anyone know if there is a difference in the holes from a square bootlock to a round one, any mods required or is it just a straight swap over?? Its an 04 blob sti if that helps

The square boot lock seems to need a bigger hole than the old type round one, not sure if you can just swap the mechanism though.
