We have an 06 56 plate 2.5 wrx wagon which we like. Its getting a bit old gradually although at only 42k miles its never missed a beat.
However replacing it is getting hard.
We drove a 58 plate R36 estate at the weekend and it was very dull and frankly there isn't a lot more option out there.
We have looked for a gb270 wagon but at only a a year newer than ours its barely seems worth double (and a bit) the value of ours.
So is there anything else available in Japan as a quick 4wd estate?
I've seen an 09 plate Forester sti on Ph - are these readily available that new (or newer)?
Are there many Legacy spec B estates again 09 or newer?
It needs to be manual but normal spec would be fine -reliability is key as my wife drives it mostly.
The only other option is an S4/RS4 and the price goes up significantly or an SUV.
So is there anything out there that fits the bill - import maybe?

Rs4 as you have said, Insignia VXR estate, can't think if anything else.

No, nothing comes close bang for buck that can do everything a wagon can.

Keep it, I had the same dilemma then went out and bought a 54 plate wagon with 92k on the clock, so yours is brand spanking new compared to mine,

I'd really like a gb270 with the couple of options there were but its hardly worth it. Then again its the last of the breed - anyone want to trade down?

E63 AMG or M5 estate - these were my final 2 possibles when I thought about trading the old wagon in. On reflection I decided to go for enginetuner stroker with all the bits at half the price.

If you remove the desire for awd then there are more options out there but we quite like that as part of the package.

S402 looks nice but I don't imagine they are on every street corner.
Any estates for sale do you know?
