Lightbulb ENGINE SWAP HELP NEEDED

Hi i am a fair noob when it comes to big things with car however i have a 2001 bugeye GX non-turbo impreza and i am getting alot of oil on the plugs also need a new clutch fitted and an oil leak repaired so i decided i would buy a turbo engine and have it fitted however after looking around i do not feel confident in fitting this myself, i am based near peterborough and was wondering if anyone could either fit the engine for me or some help? i will be getting the engine, ecu, transpoder and engine loom plus anyother parts that will need replacing so anyone who could fit this for me would be great i appreciate anyone fitting will not fit for nothing so if you could PM me a price for removal of my old engine and fitting of the new engine this would be great, i am not planning on buying a turbo impreza as my car has cost alot so far so i would rather chuck some more money at it first so please dont suggest i just buy a new car as i wont thanks in advance, Scott

I won't suggest that it's cheaper and a lot less hassle to buy a bug WRX turbo then

You'll need the gearbox too, as the non turbo one will **** itself pretty quick (wasn't you the chap who put cheap oil in a clunky box recently?). Also you'll need the brakes front/rear off a turbo or you'll not be able to stop either.

Then you'll need to sell your body, organ by organ to pay the insurance increase from swapping an n/a car to a turbo'd car.

That's the reason why very few people convert them - it's much cheaper to just sell up and buy a turbo. Honestly.

That's just honest, friendly advice as you said yourself you're not totally clued up on what's involved yet. Let the gearbox issue be a reminder it won't be cheap

Really not worth the hassle, just buy a turbo and cut your losses

Trust these guys advice,it will cost you more than you have spent allready, the insurance companies will probably charge you more than a standard turbo to insure.
And if your thinking of not declaring it to your insurance company,i dont reccommend it!
Its more trouble than it is worth

You will need a turbo bonnet unless your going for a fmic, you will need a better fuel pump I would have said.
