Next to the water spray switch there is a blanking plate with a wiring harness and plug behind it,is this for front fog lights or another switch position for auto water spray,i think its for the fogs just like an old shape impreza!!

So, all you need is the Front Fog switch and the fogs themselves then?

It is for the front fog switch.The switch is not cheap though,@ £50 and you also need the relay to go with it ,again not cheap @ £45.Then if you have the ***** to cut holes in your new car all you need is fog lights.I fitted projector light ones to match the headlights.

I was thinking about putting my current PIAA's in mine so presumably would only need the switch because the PIAA's come with their own relay....????

You need the relay that fits in below the fuse box .It's a smaller one ,hence the f!!!!n ridiculous cost.I tried various different ways.You definitely need the switch because it does a few weird things whilst switching.It was annoying to have to pay £100 just for a switch and relay ,even the guy on the parts desk was embarassed and gave me a discount to that price.
