Default Any other things i can do before remap ?

So, My 95 WRX is going to be remapped shortly, it currently has current engine mods.....

Ninja sports cat
2004 TMIC
full 3" HKS exhaust
k&n panel filter
SWRD 255LPH Fuel Pump

im guessing the remap is going to see me at what, 290 bhp ?!?!? But is there anything else i can do that doesnt cost the earth to help gain any more, i know the gearbox is gonna be a weak point etc so not looking for major bhp, just a nice steady increase of bhp/torque from the standard Z4 is dishing out and mate up the above mods to make it all run alot better )only 8 yrs too late ha ah )

cheers

to get the most from your set up i would go for a set of 440's and a later model map sensor, you should be able to get both of these for reasonable money.

Do you mean MAF sensor, pretty sure the 95 doesnt run a MAP sensor ??

So the 440`s are worth doing ? i wont get a decat not after the hassle of fitting the sports CAT LOL :-)

And to fit the 440`s im guessing you need either an adpater kit or the fuel rails from the phase 2 setup ?

cheers

No get a set of injectors from a version 3/4 sti and they will go straight in, your car currently uses a maf and a map sensor your current map sensor will only let you run upto 1.2 bar of boost using a later sensor will allow more boost.

Also if your not using it already fill up with V-Power, that way it will get mapped on the best possible fuel.

Enjoy

Cooling !

Turbo blanket and a zerosports thermostat, anything to allow more timing If you have a custom TMIC/tray set up make sure it fits flush so the air is being forced through the core and not spilling out the sides

PH2 440's (better spray pattern !), map sensor, Redline LWSP oil in the box to cope with the increased boost, plugs, quality oil ! , spare coil packs as they can deteriorate if failing anything over a bar of boost. I'd do a newage coil pack conversion personally as it's like night and day having newage coil packs !

Other than that you're on the right path

Only other thing is to inspect your cooling such as rad, pipes, header tank as you will see more pressure and anything old or brittle will present itself the more performance you extract

Belt and braces but what's the point in anything less

Yes you have a MAP sensor it's attatched to the driver side suspension turret.

I ran a 99 STi Map sensor, modify the loom and then it's plug and play scaled during mapping
