Bugeye won't cold start. ....

Bugeye won't cold start. ....
Having problems starting my 2002 wrx from cold. Takes at least 10 seconds to start.
Anybody no what the problem is?

Sounds like low compression.

Compression test it first to see if that is actually the problem. I'd also read the codes.

Could be the cold start sensor in the water cross pipe under the inlet manifold

Check for fault codes stored in the ECU first.
As SLAB said above, good chance its the cold start temp sensor.

Sounds like a sensor problem, the DENSO ECU cold start routines on the Bug are pretty good ...........
