Default Does the 04 Sti gear **** have a silver trim at the top?

I was wondering, on a standard 04 Sti, is the gear **** meant to have a round silver trim at the top?

Mine is missing but i have seen other cars with and without it on? Can you simple buy the trim surround?

Regards.

Think pre 05 had gear **** without trim and engraved numbers where later cars had silver trim and plastic top with white numbers, well that's what mine is like and earlier blobs I looked at where different.
