Default did I Do the right thing buying a sti for 4500?

Paid 4500 for a black 53reg sti with 62k miles fsh.
It had been stood for two years so I've changed the pads/discs . Its having the big service again next Friday and a machine polish to brighten her up.

But when I come to sell her (when ever that may be) will it hold its value or would you be put off that it was stood for two years??
Discuss.

If it was dry stored and not parked on some garden lawn I wouldn't care, I'd look at it this way. Been stood so likely to have less miles on but I'm a tight git as well lol

Parked my 2004WRX up for a year without use, reconected the battery and it ran with no problems whatsoever. Changed all the fluids to be on the safe side tho. £4.5k for an Sti with that mileage seems a pretty good price imo

As I said in your other thread, 2 years is nothing !!!! Just change the fluids and filters and enjoy the bloody thing. If your worried about it then ive got £4500 for it.

Also, how would a potential buyer be put off, you don't need to mention its been stood for two years.

Mmmmmm, stood for two years, or thrashed to within an inch of it's life for two years. I know what I'd choose, you got a bargain there.
