Whitecroft, holds fond memories for me, my mate used to own the royal oak, and for my sins I helped him out behind the bar a few times, not sure about your age, but it was when it was a bit of a " disco type" pub, probably about 1986.
I was over there earlier this week at BRM, the body shop place, but that's another story, ( read my other post about the car wash ).
I drive a totally standard, ( apart from K&N panel filter ), 2001wrx bugeye wagon, as for knowing me, well I am known around here, but only to a certain age group who can remember a certain night club in Coleford.

Before it was stars it was called the powerhouse, ( weightlifting place ), after stars it was called "porky's", but I was long gone by then, probably at the globe berry hill.

Christ you make me feel old, better ask your old man if he ever went to "stars" night club, it was at the back of the kings head, you were far too young to even remember it, but it was a legendary place, sometimes for the wrong reasons.
