Car is now sold.
Its with very sad news that i have had to sell my beloved Scooby.
The time has come where I needed to make cut backs. Being on a pitence of a wage and saving for a wedding and renting she had to go. She was in need of a lot of cosmetic work due to the rust and I just couldn't afford the repairs. I had to invest what i had in something else.
From the very first day I purchased her till the minute the new owner drove away, she always put a smile on my face. She was so reliable and has served me very well. It was just the rust which had got to her. She had done just over a 100k and still never missed a beat.
The new owner is going to fix her up and repair her to a great standard and hopefully i will see her driving around town.
She will be missed.
And lastly I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all you fellow scooby owners who have replied and helped me out with advice and such. If I came across a better paid job I wouldn't hesitate in buying another scooby.
Now some people may laugh but my replacement car is a Ford Mondeo 2.2TDCI ST. A fellow colleague at work sold me it for a very very good price. It just needs a bit of TLC.
Thanks again for all your help. I'm going to keep my account active so I can have a nosey now and a again.
