I've never really thought about Scoobies much. A couple of days ago, I started to wonder about getting an Impreza Wagon. I've sort of worked out that I'd probably like a late Mark 2 - around 2006?

But that's about as far as I've got. To my mind, there'd be little point in an Impreza if it didn't go a bit so, does this mean a 2.5 WRX? What engine options are there? Also, are there different trim levels?

Be gentle with me ... please.

I would say that I would prefer to get a standard model as I'd prefer to do any mods myself - unless there are "standard" improvements that are often fitted.

Be warned though, once you get bitten by the power & modifying bug, it gets expensive

 

Mark 2? They aren't Fords.

Looking at it that way, a 2006 car would be a Mk4/5.

Blob WRX wagon should still be a 2.0l, I think.

I thought the bug-eyes got less bug-eyed as time went on.

I quite like the 3-hole upper grill ... maybe?

hehe, yeah it happens, found a pic of my dads on ebay that was used as a demo car for parts before he got it :O and my old car on ebay for the graphics that were on it lol

 

OK ... the face-lifted classic is nice but the hawkeye is the one I'd settled on in preference to the bug and blob eyes ... Am I starting to get the words right?

So, for an unmodified Turbo Nutter B'stard 4WD wagon with leather seats, what model do I look for?

And, I know I shouldn't ask but ... black headlights? Shirley shum mishtake?
