I always knew it would look good but didn't think it would look this good!!

Living so far away there was no chance I could pop in to see progress so it was a pleasant surprise when I unwrapped it

This is great. I am looking to run more power on my 2003 WRX and am trying to learn by reading all the threads on this this! Its all about getting a good builder and trusting them.

I have seen some horror stories on here!!!!

I don't really want to wait until my current engine goes 'bang'

Also what's the advantage of a Closed Desk and Semi, is the 2.1 stroker a closed deck block.. Sorry for the thread hijack fella.

Alan Jefferey Engine Tuner builds the engine you provide. It all depends on how much power you want.

A rough guide would be and i'm prob way out

Open deck 400 - 420
Semi 500
Closed 600

Obviously with all supporting mods.

Pm Alan or give him a call and he'll go through all your options. He really is a top bloke.

Thirded?

My Forged 2.5 is a peach. all machining and work done in house and the building room is just a drool for the petrol head in us all.

Mine was in for a head gasket failure after previous muppet went for the 1.5bar mapping.....

I can't remember but the added cost of driving down there, (Isle of Man to Plymouth) and letting Alan remove it, strip and rebuild and reasemble, then fly down, collect, run in and get mapped by Martyn next day was worth every penny! And I got a warranty which was nice.

I miss Total Impreza but Alan isn't THAT grumpy you know!
