I have washed my Scooby twice in three days this week.

I think I need help..

So if you are handy with a sponge and available next week let me know.. LOL

Seriously do I need to seek medical advice?

You're asking whether or not to keep cleaning a car with a rally heritage?

I don't think it is summer there yet, still have to wait two months, so i think you are tempting fate with the weather. Summer always brings rain here and i use that to keep the car clean and dirty at the same time.

The time of year when the weather is such that the car is always wet, you know it is blastered but it look fairly clean..
What does the rally heritage got to do with it?

Thanks Peccy I am feeling a lot less obsessive.

I washed the car on Tuesday including wheels.

Wednesday I picked up lots of fly splatters and some new wheels which I washed and fitted.

Last night I washed the bodywork to get rid of the flies and dust and the new wheels again!

I could do with doing inside of windows actually, lots of little finger marks..

I went for a drive with the other TT Scooby lads on Sunday, I came back and had about 10000 flies stuck to it!

I couldn't wash it until last night by which time they were all baked on!

The car is black too which doesnt help in the keeping clean dept!

Looks like it'll lbe getting some TLC over the weekend!

I have never cleaned my engine bay on the scooby..

Ever since I cleaned the bay on a previous car and then had problems starting it, alternator went, starter motor went all within a month of washing it.. admittedly I was fairly ham fisted with the approach.. but I now fear putting degreaser or any cleaning product near a lubricated engine and components..

I think the Scooby will be getting a Polish and window clean next week if the weather holds

Picked my Prodrive up a week last Wednesday but am too lazy to wash it myself so pay the hand car wash places to do it for me. You won't believe how many times I have had it done in the 8 days

It's costing me more than Optimax at the moment
