Thumbs up UK300 owners past and present...

When I bought my car I was told there was a 'UK300 register' online which told you how many were left. There wasn't. So I made one.

http://uk300register.co.uk/

If you currently own or have owned and destroyed a UK300, click the edition number from the grid, click 'Update This Information' and fill in the very short form - it'll take you 5mins at most and will help build an accurate record of how many are really left.

No personal gain for me, no tricks, no on-site adverts. Just Subaru enthusiasm

Could also be expanded to cover other limited editions if it would be useful?

Had a slew of submissions over night - 7 cars now 'known' so thanks to all who've submitted their details!

Thanks, I've added you info but I'll wait and see if he does register before I add his. Perhaps I need another 'status' option for cases like that and the update I just had from someone who sold their car last year, something like 'thought to be still on the road'.

I wasn't sure how much information people would want to give really, but it'd be easy enough to add some extra fields in to show some additional data. Perhaps something to keep in mind for 'version 2.0'

As I said in the PM mate, I think your best bet might be to contact Subaru directly with your chassis number - you might even find a local dealership has access to the information.

Cheers mate, i also know the owner of 217 and tried to add that
Aside from the spiel on the uk300, is there a tech spec of them anywhere? Ive tried google etc but it comes up with same stuff

I would like to know turbo, engine, gearbox and diff type etc.
i think the box is a ty754?

Cheers, dan

I would think the tech spec would be in line with whatever was in the normal WRX of the same era. I don't know if the box/diff changed over the run of the bugeye, but the turbo should be the stock td04 and the engine will be the ej20. Mechanically they're just a standard WRX

Hi, does any1 know if there's a similar thing going on for wrx300's? Not sure why but they haven't individual numbered the 2005 wrx300's. Also is there any way to find out the car numbers?

I used to own 178. Great car running 336bhp. Owned for 5 years without any major issues. I speak to current owner and its still going strong on 90k plus miles. I love the looks of the uk300.
