Hi folks.
I have a set of PIAA driving lights fitted to my Scoob, and will be driving across Europe in a couple of months time (France, Germany and Austria). Considering the fact that I have to put those headlight beam altering things on my main headlights, will it be legal to use the driving lights over there, or should I keep them safely covered up. (I don't really relish the prospect of a fine or worse!!).
Thanks,
Iain

The beam altering gismo's are only for your dips. Your driving lights should only be on with main beam, so they don't need to be altered for driving on the 'wrong' side of the road

I've been driving my Belgian Scooby with the Piaa-drivinglights on in Germany, France and Switserland, without any problems...completely legal when they come up with your main beam!

I guess if you drive in a manner that deserves getting pulled, driving lights are not going to be your biggest problem.
I have 130W lights in my Land Rover and take it to the South of France at least 4 times a year. I never bother with anything to change beam direction etc. These lights are illegal even in this country I think.
If you attract attention you will probably receive it.
