GoPro HERO3 Black Motorsport Edition Camera
Anyone got one of the cameras?
They look that absolutely biz and with a few track days booked this year I am severely tempted. I have scoured the net and the best price I can see is on that Tuning Boost website: http://www.tuningboost.co.uk/o/29/go...edition-camera
Any feedback on camera setups before I hit the buy button?

I bought the go pro white as I didnt see the point of the premium price for pictures when all I wanted it for was video. A quick firmware update and down load the go pro app and I now have full control of the camera through wifi. Good thing about mine was it was only £138 in America at xmas

My neice bought one of the hero3's about a week ago and had nothing but issues with it, very poor battery life, crashing when unplugged from charging wifi issues. sent it back and then found out on various forums that alot of people had the same problems and no firmware update as such to correct them. do alot more scanning of forums first. She got her money back for hers

I have the gopro hd hero2 and got to say it is a very good camera
I didnt want to shell out for the hero3 as I would not use it alot but I was impressed with the hero2
so I imagine the hero3 will be even better

Hi mate I was looking at GoPros last week, I spoke to a retailer who stated unless you have a £8k tv, the black edition won't play (in higher res) and so you have to record in the same quality as the cheaper silver edition
In the end I opted for this from the states for my I phone: http://www.hitcase.com/hitcase-pro
I use my previously bought suction/tripod mount, used by snowboarders etc
And it's waterproof (scary moment of truth):
Ok it's not as Gucci as a GoPro but for probably once a month usage I love it

I've got a GoPro Hero 2 and its brilliant, i'd love a Hero 3 mostly for the far far better low light sensitivity rather than higher resolution, also 120fps in 720p would be awesome!
The Hero 2 does struggle in low light quite badly and the inclusion of Wifi would be really useful aswell.
