Why does every **** on the road want to race an Impreza?
I've had two today, same stretch of road, one this morning, one tonight.
First one was a Nissan Qashqai, second was a huuuuge old shape 5 series barge.
Thing is, what the fcuck's the point on a 40mph dual carriageway in heavy traffic?
Maybe I'm just getting too old.

I get this too, some idiot in a run of the mill car sat on my back bumper in a 30mph limit or a little hatchback zooming off from the lights like it's some sort of victory, what's the point?

Only had my new age 3 days but finding the same. Don't think the NUr spec exhaust helps either (it's going)
Norman Dog, think I was in your street today (assuming I have correct person), my nana lives in the bungalows (assuming yours is the spec D), if so listen out for mine, I visit quite regularly.

Funnily enough I had this from a Porsche 911 Turbo driver tonight, what was the point?? his car is massively quicker than mine and yet he did everything possible to get ahead of me in rush hour traffic including undertaking n cutting up some woman in her MPV I still caught him up n overtook him at speed though, when he got caught up in traffic, look on his face was a picture

I have a fairly discreet Legacy B4 so don't get much hassle.
What I don't get is the attitude of some younger drivers/passengers.
Last night I pulled up next to a nice, subtle, modified Toyota Supra. Two guys in their early 20's I would guess. The passenger looked over at my car & I gave him a nod to acknowledge his car & they both just stare straight ahead with the hard man expression on their faces.
I have had this a couple of times.Seems some of them just look at having a nice car as a 'street cred' thing & have no joy in appreciating other cars or sharing in the car culture community.

Just drive in the inside lane on the motorway at 60mph with the trucks!
They look as the pass you then you can choose which one to pounce on!

Had some middle aged guy pull beside me on the dual carriageway at the weekend in one of them jaguar xkr r things? Nice looking motor really, I usually drive mine wearing big green ear defenders I look a right **** but my car uses a straight cut dog box and is stripped of all sound deadening, he slowed to the same speed as me looked over and gestured to go for it, I pointed to the for sale sign in the rear drivers side window that had in big red letters 558BHP SPRINT CAR FOR SALE and shook my head while giving him a big grin, he stuck up his middle finger and roared of!! *** head, I just carried on poofing along at my 60mph pace. True story.
